Yes very true. They want someone that they don’t have to put a lot of time with. They love being the man on the side

Not true for men but it is for women

Trying to anlayze this statement could make me think that some men may want to not have the feelings attached. Thus, creating a friend with benefits type of atmosphere but this could also be said for women who mess with attached or married men so that there cant be no emotional ties. So i guess it can go both ways not gender specific.

It’s true for those who want that persons significant other. I want her to myself. Don’t need the drama that comes with her present situation and attachment.

Well i guess I would agree..It seem that its human nature to want the unattainable. The challenge or just say we are instinctively competitive, civil but animalistic. So the attraction to the emotionally unavailable or attached is primitive and adds to the thrill of the hunt.

@Mr. Green- well…aren’t you honest? lol. Not to say other’s arent. But I appreciate you acknowleding what many of us like to sweep under the rug. I guess it could be the “thrill of the hunt”.

It’s excitement and it works for both men and women. It also has something to do with your personality and character. I mean who doesn’t like a challenge?

I dont believe men get that same excitement as women when they find the person they are pursuing to be taken…I believe different instinctual factors are at play for the different sexes in these types of situations

I agree Carl. I don’t think its just because they are taken, unavailable could also be uninterested at the time.
